Principal’s Message

It is hard to believe that we are now into semester three of the 2007-2008 school year. The timetable is set and students are now applying themselves in their new courses. Individual student goals are being applied, to assure that academic goals are being met.

During our two week Spring Break, final preparations were being made to develop a comprehensive summer semester where student success is the focus.  During this period of time, we had two days of Provincial Exams for selected courses in grades 10, 11 and 12. In this summative examination period, all exams except for Math 12 and Chemistry 12 were done electronically. Students were provided practice on the electronic exams during our Provincial Exam tutorial sessions.  I was proud of the focus and attention to detail that our students demonstrated during this important examination period.

 I would like to congratulate those students who have completed their graduation program requirements and are now ready to enter the next phase of the education process-post secondary. To those students returning, I wish you all the best in your studies.  Be clear in your goals, and have a logical plan to achieve your success.  Learn to plan and plan to learn!
